LIVING WELL WORKSHOP


You are invited to attend a free workshop
For people with long term conditions or ongoing challenges with their lifestyle, relationships and their future. Living well workshops are being offered to assist people to better manage these challenges.you will learn ways to self manage your condition and take charge of your life.

This workshop will be held every Wednesday afternoon for six weeks at the one stop shop.

Minding Our Moods

Are you troubled by anxiety and/or depression?
Do you have a history of alcohol or other drug use?
The ‘Minding Our Moods’ group is an eight week program that aims to help us acknowledge and accept our emotions, identify what triggers troubling emotions and explore ideas for how we can better mind our moods. The group will run weekly from the 21st May through to the 9th July 2009.
Numbers are limited, so please register your interest as soon as possible!

When: Thursdays

with time for a cuppa & chat after-wards (snacks provided)

Winterfold Primary School Living Classroom


The City of Fremantle and Winterfold Primary School invite you to the opening
of the Winterfold Primary School Living Classroom
Where: Annie St, Beaconsfield
(near the corner of Deering Street)
When: 10 am Friday 22nd May


The living classroom has a garden of edible plants, a fruit orchard, an indigenous garden with bush-tucker plants and will be grown and maintained by the school community. This innovative project harvests stormwater for use in the school grounds. It is a joint initiative between the Department of Education and the City of Fremantle, with support from the Federal Government’s Community Water Grant scheme.
A Waterwise Gardening Workshop will be held on site after the opening ceremony.
