Performing with Puppets for Adults
+ A Very Special Summer Season of our Most Loved Production!
Spare Parts Puppet Theatre is pleased to announce another puppetry performance skills workshop, this time to be facilitated by our Associate Artistic Director, Michael Barlow. Over the course of four weeks, participants will learn principles of manipulation technique, how to use different types of constructed puppets, object theatre, how to conceptualise using puppetry in their own work, and also have the opportunity to devise small performance pieces of their own.
This course is open to performing artists who are looking to develop their skills in this unique artform. Class sizes are small to ensure an intimate and involved learning experience.
Dates: Wednesday 11, 18, 25 November & 2 December
Times: 6.00pm – 9.00pm

Sock Knitting is Back!!

If you can cast on, knit and purl, and have time to knit between sessions, you can learn from Mary’s basic formula to knit socks in any size and never-ending designs!
